Since I was a child I am just attracted to handmade things. The area where I grew up gave me the opportunity to go many handmade fairs where I was watching the craftsmen with a constant admiration whether they were sewing leather ar making pottery… If I had the time, I would surely try all handmade techniques out. The ability that we are able to make beautiful things with our hands amazes me.

Still I have begun my journey in the world of handmade quite late. I was about eighteen when I first tried crotchet out which was followed by knitting. I have started with small projects – thanks to my impatient nature, haha. When my son was born, I have become an enthusiast knitter, but unfortunately, he was less enthusiast about wearing mama’s jumpers after a certain age…

Sewing was always something I wanted to learn, but, remembering my mother’s sewing room full of machines and supplies, I was a bit intimidated by the thought to start. Until couple of years ago, I have seen an advertisement of a local seamstress giving classes plus all the supplies in the workshop you might need. I took the opportunity and sewing has become my passion. I feel, I can really live my creativity out drafting or adjusting patterns and put together something what lives in my imagination. The sound of my sewing machine is almost like a therapy for me. I made every piece of clothing with so much love, trying to bring them (almost) to perfection.
